How will it work?

The Council is introducing an experimental Traffic Regulation Order (TRO), which will be in force for a maximum period of 18 months.

Over the first 6 months, members of the public will be able to make representations to the Council concerning the scheme. The Council will evaluate and if necessary adapt the scheme in response to this feedback

At the end of this period, the project will be evaluated and a decision made as to whether the scheme should be made permanent, modified or revoked.

The experimental TRO will prohibit any motor vehicle without a permit or valid exemption from using the School Streets zone whilst the scheme is in operation.
