The following table of useful web links, in respect of reference sources, is a means to quickly access a broad collection of datasets, reports, strategies and other information sources that will primarily be of use to policy and research analysis of public agencies involved with Solihull.  Many of these sources will require some technical expertise and adequate software to exploit fully but if you are having any difficulty the Solihull Observatory is on hand to help.

Office for National Statistics (ONS) Neighbourhood Statistics View of download data by topic, view neighbourhood summaries, create custom tables, charts and maps, and explore analysis and best practice. Latest news stories also very useful including Indicator Catalogue.
  Population Estimates and Projections Estimated resident population with latest reports and breakdowns by wards, SOA and different groups (including age, gender and ethnicity).

Projections are available to 2031 at authority level.
  Interactive Content The graphs and maps on this page include interactivity and animation, allowing you to engae with ONS data and explore what is important for you.
Department for Communities and Local Government (DCLG) Communities and Neighbourhoods Includes Places Community, analytical windows (very useful), sources of evidence and other links/publications.
  Data for Neighbourhoods and Regeneration Identifies and signposts datasets available at a neighbourhood level. This is a key reference.
Public Health England  Health and Care of Older People This interactive Atlas can be used to highlight large variations in the health and care of older people.
