Consultation on proposed admission arrangements

Admission to schools in Solihull for children starting school from 1 September 2020 onwards.

Every year the admission arrangements for schools and academies are reviewed and determined. There must be a consultation if any significant changes are being proposed or if there has not been a consultation for 7 years.

The consultation period is from 20 December 2018 to 31 January 2019.

There is a consultation on the admission arrangements for all Solihull community and voluntary controlled schools as there has not been a consultation for 7 years. There are no significant changes to the way places will be offered.

If you have any comments or views regarding the admission arrangements you should send them to researchandpolicy@solihull.gov.uk by 5.00pm on Thursday 31 January 2019. We will not reply individually - all responses will be considered together after the end of the consultation and before the admission arrangements are determined by Cabinet Portfolio Holder for Education and Skills.
