To accept the recommendations of the Investment Panel for the release of funding on a number of one-off and ongoing pressures.

RESOLVED
(i) That the release of one-off funding in 2008/09 totalling £88,000 for the communications campaign to support the expansion of the waste and recycling service be agreed;
(ii) That the release of recurring funding of £44,000 for the post of Environmental Champion Co-ordinator be agreed;
(iii) That the release of recurring funding of £106,000 in respect of existing staffing requirements in the Contact Centre be agreed.
