Purpose of Decision
This report seeks to recommend an increase of 2.5% in fees for lessons at Music Centres, and membership of Ensembles from September 2009.
Decision Taken
The Cabinet Portfolio Holder for Children and Young People:-
(i) Approved the 2.5% increase in fees for music centre tuition from September 2009; and
(ii) Approved the 2.5% increase in fees for ensemble membership from September 2009; and
(iii) Agreed that EC&YP Scrutiny Board be requested to consider the service's longer term budget strategy.
