Over the past seven years or so Keith James and Rick Foot have gained substantial acclaim for bringing the fragile and beautiful music of Nick Drake into a live context, giving re-birth and a human presence to one of the most influential singer-songwriters of the last 50 years. Nick Drake (1948 - 1974) was an English singer-songwriter and musician best known for his acoustic, autumnal songs. Although he failed to find a wide audience during his lifetime, Drake's work has grown steadily in stature, and has now reached such proportions that he will always be seen as a landmark, a beauty, a thread of creativity that will forever span the rapids of modern music.
This phenomenally successful show has toured worldwide. Starting with a short film about Nick Drake, James (vocal, acoustic guitar) and Foot (double bass) go on to perform the wonderful songs of Nick Drake.
