The two-hour concert parades some thirty songs from the wonderful Billie Holiday repertoire, including many that are all-too frequently ignored.
Presented chronologically through the 30s, 40s and 50s many featuring the original arrangements and perform with style and vitality by British Jazz Awards Best Vocalist Val Wiseman. She is joined by a host of top names including Digby Fairweather, Alan Barnes, Roy Williams, Brian Dee, Pat McCarthy, Len Skeat and Bobby Worth, who between them have amassed a staggering 37 British Jazz Awards!
