Financial Assessment

The amount that you have to pay towards your home care would depend on how many hours of care you receive and your financial circumstances. If you are in receipt of Guaranteed Pension Credit you will not have to pay.

An officer from the Council or DWP will visit you to determine your financial situation and to ensure that you are in receipt of all the benefits to which you are entitled. Following this visit your ability to pay will be calculated.
