Food Hygiene Training Courses
Solihull Council have been providing food hygiene training through their Environmental Health Food Safety Team for over 10 years now and have built up an extensive knowledge of the local area and the needs of it’s customers. Over 3,300 food handlers have been trained, either at their place of work or at the Civic Suite in Solihull.
Training
Training in food hygiene helps you and your staff comply with the law and keeps customers healthy and happy. By organising training for your staff with Solihull Council you can benefit from our knowledge of food and hygiene in many different areas of catering.
Flexible training is available to suit the needs of the business - from an hour of awareness training for a group of Lunch Club volunteers to a full one day certificated training course for high risk food handlers. Weekend and evening training can also be scheduled if appropriate.
Links with the Food Standards Agency, the C.I.E.H. and other Local Authorities help to keep training up to date and relevant, with the emphasis on teaching individuals to develop their understanding as well as their knowledge.
Training is informal and relaxed, either at your premises or the Civic Suite in Solihull
