Redundancy Support for Businesses
Redundancy can happen to anyone at any time. Whether you are an employer or employee, The Employment Team at Solihull Council are able to support you. As part of a Birmingham and Solihull Redundancy Partnership members include; Jobcentre Plus, Learning & Skills Council, Birmingham City Council, Chamber of Commerce, Unity and ACAS. We operate under an agreed ‘Job Losses Protocol’ and offer our support services to all Solihull based companies either known to the Partnership or who make direct contact with us.
The range of advice and support that we are able to offer is dependent upon many factors:
- Numbers of employees faced with redundancy
- Skills of employees
- Jobcentre Plus ‘ Large Scale Redundancy’ eligibility
