noted the areas of performance delivery, and

endorsed the corrective actions and further enquiries recommended to address areas of under performance.

acknowledged and affirmed the inequalities described;

affirmed that the action areas should be the priorities for tackling the demonstrated iniquitous experience of good health and ill health;

agreed to use the framework and action area plans as an integral component of their decision making process in 2005; and

agreed to accept a future report on the indicators of progress outlining the baseline position and target change.

approved the delegation of powers to the Corporate Director of Resources to make appropriate ICT budget virements, in conjunction with other Corporate Directors; and

noted the intention to take a follow-up report to the Cabinet Portfolio holder for Resources setting out the overall results of the agreed virements.

Approved the North Solihull Strategic Framework for adoption as Supplementary Planning Guidance (SPG ); and

Delegated approval of the Monitoring and Review Matrix to the Director of Physical and Economic Regeneration in consultation with the Cabinet Portfolio Holder for Regeneration and the Oppostion Spokespersons.

considered the implications of regional casinos for economic development and regeneration; and

supported in principle the development of a regional casino on the NEC site (subject to obtaining the necessary detailed planning permission and licences at the appropriate time) and recommend the NEC site as a preferred location for a regional casino to the Regional Planning Body and Government Advisory Panel. 

noted the outcome of the Pathfinder assessment;

endorsed the priority areas for action within 2005/6 Performance Plans; and

considered the identified priority areas when making budget option decisions as part of the 2005/6 budget setting process.
