The Cabinet: acknowledged and affirmed the inequalities described; affirmed that the action areas should be the priorities for tackling the demonstrated iniquitous experience of good health and ill health; agreed to use the framework and action area plans as an integral component of their decision making process in 2005; and agreed to accept a future report on the indicators of progress outlining the baseline position and target change. |
This report provides Cabinet Members with the opportunity to review the impact of health inequalities upon the citizens of the Borough and reflect upon their contribution to a reduction in those inequalities. :- approved the delegation of powers to the Corporate Director of Resources to make appropriate ICT budget virements, in conjunction with other Corporate Directors; and noted the intention to take a follow-up report to the Cabinet Portfolio holder for Resources setting out the overall results of the agreed virements. |
