Cabinet:- Noted the process for applying to the Secretary of State for section 27 consent; Noted the contents of the constitution (Memorandum and Articles) of Solihull Community Housing; Noted that the proposal to establish Solihull Community Housing has the support of a majority of tenants and leaseholders; and Authorised officers to continue discussions with ODPM and draft an application to the ODPM for section 27 consent for consideration at the Cabinet meeting on 4 December 2003. |

Cabinet:- agreed the 11 service specific targets contained in the Council’s Local Public Service Agreement; and agreed that the final version of the Council wide cost effectiveness target be brought to Cabinet on 04 February 2004. |
The LPSA is a form of contract between the Council and the Government for the delivery of 11 service specific "stretch" targets and 1 Council wide cost effectiveness target. The key aim of our LPSA is to deliver the Government's and the Council's strategic agenda. The negotiations with the Government have now concluded. Cabinet are asked to authorise the final "package" of targets, so that work can commence on delivering the agreed service outcomes. | 17 November 2003 | |
