Care Trust Consultation

Cabinet

[i] received the public consultation document on the proposal to develop a Care Trust for Solihull;

[ii] received details of and endorsed the consultation process to be followed; and

[iii] agreed to receive a further report on the product of the consultation at it's meeting on 6 October 2005.

Progression of the Council's Major Project - Care Trust Development, and facilitate closer and more integrated working with the health services as the consultation process develops.

Approved Single Capital Pot Capital Projects Monitoring Report 1st Quarter 2005-06

Cabinet: -

(i) noted the monitoring information; and

(ii)  approved the reallocation of SCP funding £26K to other schemes and £53K to be reallocated in the future.

To report progress in the delivery of the Single Capital Pot Projects.

North Solihull Regeneration - Approval of provisional Neighbourhood Plans for consultation

Cabinet:

i) Noted public feedback in respect of design options for the North Arran Way and Craig Croft neighbourhoods;

ii) Noted the receipt of petitions in respect of potential changes to Roach Close / Pike Drive, demolitions in Windward Way and closure of Ribble Way and the action proposed in response to these; and

iii) Approved provisional Neighbourhood Plans for North Arran Way and Craig Croft for formal consultation.

To consider feeback from public consultation on design options for the Craig Croft and North Arran Way neighbourhoods including the receipt of 3 petitions. In the light of this feedback, approve provisional Neighbourhood Plans for North Arran Way and Craig Croft for formal consultation.

Solihull UDP Review - Response to Inspectors Report and Proposed Modifications

That Cabinet:

agreed the responses to the Inspectors recommendations;

 approve the proposed modifications for formal deposit including those detailed in Appendix E which was circulated at the meeting; and

 Endorsed the policies and proposals which were unchallenged at the Inquiry or were supportde by the Inspector and did not require modification.

To consider

the responses to the recommendations of the  Inspectors Report

 the proposed modifications to the Plan:

 the deposit of the the proposed modifications for consultation; and

  formally endorsing policies and proposals not subject to modification

That Cabinet approved the draft green space strategy and local standards for consultation purposes, and invited the Regeneration and Coummunity Safety Scrutiny Board to consider the Strategy following the consultation exercise.
