298Cab05 Housing Capital Resources 2005-06 The Cabinet:-

approved the use of Housing Capital Resources as set out in the Appendix to the report; and

agreed to delegate approval for the use of those resources to the Cabinet Portfolio Holder for Regeneration.

299Cab05 Risk Management Cabinet :-

considered the data produced by the Corporate Governance and Risk Support Manager regarding strategic risks and, where it is felt appropriate make recommendations on ways to further reduce the likelihood or impact of identified risks; and

noted the progress that had been made in developing the Council’s Risk Management Approach.

 

As part of the Council’s Risk Management Strategy, Cabinet monitors the arrangements for managing the Council’s Strategic Risks through six monthly reports. 18 March 2005  
300Cab05 Fees and Charges for Environmental Health Cabinet agreed the introduction of new fees and charges  commencing in April 2005 relating to:-

Other Environmental Information.

Replacement certificate or change of details in connection with the registration of skin piercing activities.

Fixed penalty fines for fly posting, littering and fly tipping.

 

To seek approval for the introduction of new fees and charges for 2005/06. 18 March 2005  
301Cab05 Trading Standards and Licensing Fees and Charges Cabinet agreed to the scale of fees and charges for the Trading Standards and Licensing Services as set out in the report.

 

Proposed fees and charges for 2005/06 for Trading Standards and Licensing are increased by at least the rate of inflation and contain some new fees. Cabinet approval is required. 18 March 2005  
302Cab05 North Solihull Regeneration - Finalisation of Legal Agreements Cabinet :

noted progress in negotiating legal agreements for North Solihull Regeneration; and

approved the arrangements for finalising the legal agreements prior to signature (paragraphs 9.4.1, 9.4.2 of the report).

303Cab05 Midlands Way and Going for Growth - Consultation Documents The Cabinet agreed the Council’s response to both the Midlands Way and Going for Growth (Birmingham City-Region) Consultation Documents on the basis set out in the report. To consider both the Midlands Way and Going for Growth (Birmingham City-Region) Consultation Documents and agree Solihull’s responses to both. 18 March 2005  
304Cab05 Forward Plan The Leader of the Council approved the Forward Plan for the next four months To consider the Forward Plan for the next 4 months. All new entries are highlighted in bold. 18 March 2005
