Disposal of Land at Monkspath Hall Road

The Cabinet:-

(i) having taken regard of the objections made, agreed the disposal by way of lease to the Council’s leisure operator, on the basis set out in this report of land at Tudor Grange Leisure Centre (identified on the plan 3 submitted in this report) subject to the completion of a contract for the operation of the Tudor Grange Leisure Centre and the grant of detailed planning permission;

(ii)                 agreed that the wooded area at the Monkspath Hall Road site (as indicated on plan 4 submitted in this report) be excluded from any disposal of this site and be retained in the ownership of the Council; and

(iii)  agreed the disposal of the land at Monkspath Hall Road (as shown on the plan 4 attached to this report) subject to and following the grant of outline planning permission for residential care/residential development for the purpose only of providing financial resources as an enabling contribution towards the construction costs of replacement leisure facilities at Tudor Grange and enhancements to Tudor Grange Park.

 

To consider an evaluation of objections received in relation to the proposed disposal of open space land at Monkspath Hall Road and revised area for disposal excluding the wooded area.

North Solihull Regeneration – Neighbourhood Planning

Cabinet:

(i) approved the timetable for completing the Neighbourhood Plans in Craig Croft and North Arran Way; and

(ii)  approved the timetable for preparing the remaining Neighbourhood Plans.

To seek Cabinet approval for the timetable for preparing and approving future Neighbourhood Plans for the North Solihull Regeneration Area.

Approved SCIP Revenue Improvement Projects Monitoring Report – 4th Quarter 2004/05

Cabinet approved the setting aside of £0.300M of one-off resources in a reserve, the purpose and background of which is detailed under paragraph 6.4.4.

To enable Cabinet to monitor the delivery of agreed outcomes through the 33 approved SCIP Revenue Improvement Projects.

Financial Arrangements for the Future Funding of the One Front Line Project

Cabinet:

(i) approved the virement of identified revenue budget as set out in the appendix to this report and the financial paragraphs; and

(ii)  endorsed the use of the identified revenue budgets to fund further prudential borrowing for the continued planned investment in the One Front Line Programme.

To secure the funding for the One front Line Project in 2005/2006

Solihull Unitary development Plan Review – Inspectors Report

Cabinet:-

(i) agreed the publication of the Inspectors report into the UDP Review; and

(ii) agreed the next stages of the process.

 

To ask Cabinet to agree the publication of the Inspectors Report into the review of the Council's Unitary development Plan.
