Cabinet in the first instance :-
(i) endorsed the decision taken on 12th January 2005 to approve all elements of the Traffic Regulation Order for Dickens Heath comprising:- The revocation of the existing prohibition of driving order on Dickens Heath Road, south of its junction with Hensborough. (The re-opening of Dickens Heath Road outside property No. 231.) The introduction of a short section of prohibition of driving along Old Dickens Heath Road where it meets the footpath known as Buckridge Lane. (The closure of Old Dickens Heath Road at Buckridge Lane.) The prohibition of left turning vehicular movements from Old Dickens Heath Road into Hensborough The introduction of restrictions to reserve the use of the loading bay on Dickens Heath Road, adjacent to Unit No. 2, to vehicles loading or unloading to premises within the Village Centre development, and The extension the 30 mph speed limit order on Rumbush Lane, from its junction with Old Dickens Heath Road south to a point just north of its junction with Braggs Farm Lane; and (ii) authorised Officers as a matter of urgency to consider the potential for introducing a one-way system on Dickens Heath Road and Hensborough Road as set out in the report and detailed on the plan circulated at the meeting. |
