Open Space Land At Monkspath Hall Road and Tudor Grange Park – Notice of Disposal Section 123 Local Government Act 1972

The Cabinet:-

    (i)      Noted the objections received;

   (ii)     Confirmed the principle that any sale of the wooded area of land at Monkspath Hall Road will be protected from residential development by appropriate covenants and details requiring future maintenance;

 (iii)     Confirmed that land at the rear of the existing Tudor Grange Centre will not be the subject of the lease to the leisure operator;

  (iv)     Confirmed that the lease to the leisure operator will protect from further development land immediately to the rear of Blossomfield Road properties; and

   (v)     An evaluation of all the grounds of objection be reported to Cabinet on 14 April 2005.

To report on objections received in relation to the proposed disposal of land at Monkspath Hall Road and Tudor Grange Leisure Centre, to make an interim response pending further consideration by the full Cabinet at the next meeting on 14th April.

Better Together - Care Trust Consultation

Cabinet:-

[i] Noted the products of the consultation on Better Together - Care Trust Consultation and the advice of Scrutiny;

[ii] Approved progression of the Council's major project - Care Trust to the next stage;

[iii] Approved, through the auspices of the Health and Social Care Partnership Board, the Joint Expression of Interest to the Secretary of State in the development of a Care Trust for Solihull residents;

[iv] Approved the preparation of an Application to be subject to a 15 week period of formal public consultation consistent with requirements for setting up a new NHS body and milestones agreed by the Health and Social Care Partnership Board; and

[v] Agreed to receive further reports on the commencement of the formal consultation period detailing the process to be followed and arrangements for consideration of the outcome.

Progression of the Council's Major Project - Care Trust Development, and facilitate closer and more integrated working with the health services as the consultation process develops.
