Disposal of Council Owned Land in The North Solihull Regeneration Area

To note the outcomes of discussions with the Chapelhouse Action Committee;

In accordance with “Option 3”, to authorise the advertising of the disposal of open space land at Chapelhouse Road, Fordbridge as required by Section 123 of the Local Government Act, 1972; and

To make a policy decision that once the proposed development has taken place, there will be no future housing development on the Grace Academy and Chapelhouse Recreation Ground sites.

To determine the way forward regarding the proposed disposal of Council owned land at Chapelhouse Road, Fordbridge as part of the North Solihull Regeneration Programme.

Land at Kingshurst Brook, Chelmsley Wood

Having regard to the objections made, to  agree to the disposal of the Banbury Club, (the area of open space identified on the plan attached to the report) by way of lease to the Council’s existing tenants.

To consider objections received to proposals for the disposal of open space land for the purpose of constructing the new Banbury Club premises. A plan of the proposed disposal can be seen attached at Appendix 3.
