Approved the opening of discussions with relevant developers in connection with the redevelopment of a particular site;

Invited the land owners involved to assist with funding an urban design exercise; and

Agreed to receive further reports in due course on discussions with adjoining owners and options for the site.

To consider the Councils ownership and potential for redevelopment of land and approve further discussions with appropriate developers.

Approved the process proposed for taking the Shirley Town Centre Scheme forward.

To outline progress on the proposed scheme in relation to Shirley Town Centre since selection of the preferred developer and consider the next step to take the scheme forward.
