222Res04 Update on Cabinet Budgets 2004/05 The Cabinet Portfolio Holder for Resources:-

Agreed the amended revenue budgets as outlined in Appendix B;

Agreed the revised corporate capital budgets as outlined in Appendix C; and

Agreed the revised self funded capital budgets as outlined in Appendix D.

To agree the realignment and virements between Council Portfolio budgets for 2004/05. 19 October 2004  
223Res04 Disability Discrimination Act 1995 The Cabinet Portfolio Holder for Resources noted the progress made to date in order to comply with the Disability Discrimination Act 1995 Part III. To report on the requirement of the Disability Discrimination Act 1995, and the progress made to date regarding the surveys and subsequent works for all the Council’s Corporate Buildings (excluding schools) 19 October 2004  
224Res04 Property Services Team –Extension of Various contracts The Cabinet Portfolio Holder for Resources noted the actions as detailed in the report. To advise of the actions taken in consultation with the Cabinet Portfolio Holder for Resources regarding the extension of various contracts. 19 October 2004  
225Res04 Property Services Team – Invitation to tender various contracts The Cabinet Portfolio Holder for Resources agreed to authorise the invitation of tenders for the various contracts outlined in the report. To approve the invitation of tenders for various contracts, for repairs and services for schools and public buildings, as contained within the Property Services Procurement Plan. 19 October 2004  
226Res04 Acceptance of Tenders – Property Services Team The Cabinet Portfolio Holder for Resources noted for information, tenders opened and accepted in consultation with the appropriate cabinet member. 227Res04 Application for Financial Assistance from one organisation. The Cabinet Portfolio Holder for Resources:

(i) Noted the current monitoring position in respect of grants and donations;

(ii) Approved a grant of £750 for the 2nd Shirley Scout Group, to assist with the rebuilding of the Scout Centre.

To report the current position in respect of the Grants and Donations budget and to consider one organisations application:

228Res04 Council Tax payment booklets - Alternative options The Cabinet Portfolio Holder for Resources approved the choice of Option 2 to replace Council Tax booklets following the implementation of the new Council Tax system. To seek approval to the proposed changes to means of payment for those who currently pay Council Tax using a payment booklet. 19 October 2004  
229Res04 The Corporate Records Retention Policy and Schedule The Cabinet Portfolio Holder for Resources agreed the revised Corporate Records Retention Schedule and endorsed the progress made to date. 231Res04 Sale of Land at Beechcroft Road, Castle Bromwich The Cabinet Portfolio Holder for Resources approved the attached planning and disposal brief and authorised the sale of land at Beechcroft Road, Castle Bromwich on terms to be agreed by the Corporate Director of Resources in conjunction with the Cabinet Member. 233Res04 PROCURING A LONG TERM PARTNER OR PARTNERS FOR ONE FRONT LINE That the Cabinet Portfolio Holder for Resources:

(i) Agreed the approach and timetable outlined for the procurement of the Council’s long term partner; and

(ii) Agreed proposals for the extension of the existing interim support arrangements.

To agree the framework for the procuremnt of a long term Partner for the One Front Line project, and approve proposals for the extension of existing interim support arrangements to ensure that no loss of continuity or momentum occurs. 19 October 2004 Private
