The Cabinet Member for Resources having considered the views of The Town Centres Advisory Group made a number of decisions regarding Mell Sqaure and Poplar Way, and agreed to present a report to Cabinet on 7 July 2005.

To consider the options for moving forward the refurbishment and part redevelopment of Mell Square and Poplar Way.
