Housing Development by Servite Houses at Smiths Wood

(i) To make available Local Authority Social Housing Grant of £200,000 to Servite Homes subject to demonstrable evidence that the new bungalows will meet the needs of Council tenants currently in accommodation unsuitable for them;

(ii) To advise members of the outcome of the joint marketing exercise.

Request to set up a temporary base in Chelmsley Wood - Solihull Youth Service.

(i) that a 1 bedroom ground floor multi-storey flat is provided as a base for youth development work by the Youth Service; subject to consultation with tenants and planning permission;

(ii) that the full year's costs as set out at paragraph 1.4.1 are waived; and

(iii) a contribution of £500 to the required additional security measures

To seek approval for a one bedroomed ground floor multi storey flat to be used for the purpose of Youth Development

Roof aerials - Gonville House

To approve the installation of two airwave radio transmitters on the roof of Gonville House for use by the Emergency Services subject to Planning Permission, resident consultation and the agreement of a suitable rental fee.     

To inform the Cabinet Member for Housing &  Community Safety of a request for the installation of two airwave radio transmitters on the roof of Gonville House to provide upgraded coverage for the Emergency Services.
