(ii) That in principle the priority areas for improvement be confirmed;

(iii) That the Policy and Resource issues identified during the Budget and Performance setting process for 2004/05 be noted and;

(iv) To seek the views of the relevant Overview and Scrutiny Board as part of this process.

(ii) That the comments of Scrutiny in relation to progress funding and more generally in relation to supporting people be noted and;

(iii) To request further reports on implementation and strategy development together with appropriate inputs from the relevant scrutiny board.

To ensure that the implementation of Supporting People in Solihull continues to accordance with ODPM guidance.

(ii) The comments from Scrutiny, including the intention to continue to monitoring delivery be noted;

(iii)To affirm the need to sustain improvement in performance and;

(iv) That the resource issues for future years consistent with the framework set by Cabinet be noted.

To ensure delivery of assessments for Occupational Therapy services consistent with timeliness standards in Fair Access to Care.

(ii) That the current approach to fairer charging be endorsed and;

(iii) To confirm that the next annual review will take place in December 2004.

Progress Review of Fairer Charging Arrangements for Non- Residential Care Services

To give effect to a  Section 31  Agreeement to estbalish a pooled budget designed to ensure best use of Delayed Discharge Grant and the appropriate placement of adults with social care needs

(ii) That an advisory meeting be arranged with opposition spokespersons to consider and collate potential Step Change Priority project bids, service pressures and potential savings within the framework agreed by cabinet and involving lead officers.

To advise the Cabinet Member of the indicative portfolio budget for 2004/05 and to agree an advisory meeting to consider and collate potential Step Change Priority project bids, service pressures and potential savings.
