(ii) That in principle the priority areas for improvement be confirmed;

(iv) To seek the views of the relevant Overview and Scrutiny Board as part of this process.

062SCH03 Supporting People (i) To confirm the progress of Supporting People implementation and affirm the need for spending to be managed within approved allocations;

(ii) That the comments of Scrutiny in relation to progress funding and more generally in relation to supporting people be noted and;

(iii) To request further reports on implementation and strategy development together with appropriate inputs from the relevant scrutiny board.

To ensure that the implementation of Supporting People in Solihull continues to accordance with ODPM guidance.

063SCH03 Occupational Therapy – Delivery Monitoring (i) To commend progress being made;

(ii) The comments from Scrutiny, including the intention to continue to monitoring delivery be noted;

(iii)To affirm the need to sustain improvement in performance and;

(iv) That the resource issues for future years consistent with the framework set by Cabinet be noted.

To ensure delivery of assessments for Occupational Therapy services consistent with timeliness standards in Fair Access to Care.

065SCH03 Delayed discharge agreement with Birmingham Heartlands, Solihull Trust and Solihull PCT To approve the Section 31 Agreement for a Pooled Budget and to refer the agreement for endorsement by the Health and Social Care Partnership Board.

To give effect to a  Section 31  Agreeement to estbalish a pooled budget designed to ensure best use of Delayed Discharge Grant and the appropriate placement of adults with social care needs

066SCH03 Budget Framework (i) The indicative budget for 2004/05 be noted; and

(ii) That an advisory meeting be arranged with opposition spokespersons to consider and collate potential Step Change Priority project bids, service pressures and potential savings within the framework agreed by cabinet and involving lead officers.
