West Midlands Casualty Reduction Partnership - Update |
To approve, subject to successful consultation with residents, Ward Councillors and Parish Councils:- the proposed new fixed speed enforcement camera housings detailed in the report; the proposed hard-standings to enable the Casualty Reduction Partnership to carry out mobile speed enforcement activities also detailed in the report; and the endorsement of the recommendation of the West Midlands Casualty Reduction Partnership not to proceed with the second camera housing on Streetsbrook Road in the vicinity of Robin Hood Cemetry. |
To inform the Cabinet Member about the work of the West Midlands Casualty Reduction Partnership and seek approval to consult on a future programme of works. |

To note the results of the road safety assessment for Old Lode Lane; To approve Old Lode Lane being included for assessment when the 2006/07 programme for the Inconsiderate Speeding Initiative is being considered; and To agree to continue the monitoring of Old Lode Lane so that remedial action can be considered if the reduction in personal injury accidents is not maintained. |
