To note the results of the second public consultation exercise undertaken during October 2004; To approve the progressing of Option 8 (the provision of a roundabout at the Stratford Road/School Road Junction with controlled pedestrian crossing facilities and ‘No change’ to the Stratford Road/Church Road and School Road/Church Road junctions) to the detailed design stage with a view to the scheme being implemented in the 2005/06 and 2006/07 financial years; To inform residents and businesses in the local area of the consultation, of the Cabinet Member’s decision, and the likely future programme; and To receive a further report setting out the design detail, with costs, together with funding arrangements. |
