Advocacy and Self-Advocacy

Advocacy is when someone speaks on your behalf to put your views forward and/or to help you get what you are entitled to.

Self-advocacy is when someone supports you to speak up for yourself and/or to help you get what you are entitled to.

Information on Advocacy for social services clients and Advocacy for Groups of People is available on the Solihull Care Trust website.

Solihull Care Trust manages our Adult Social Services.

Older People's Advocacy Alliance UK is a registered charity that offers advocacy services to older people.
