Careers Education/IAG

Connexions Solihull offers curriculum support and staff development in careers work.

Consultancy and support to schools includes:-

• Assistance to undertake self-assessment against IAG National Standards
• Work with schools to develop IAG provision, careers education and PSHEE programmes in line with statutory duties and best practice, including the new programme of study for PSHEE
• Support with SEF completion and evidence identification
• Help to build a portfolio of evidence to achieve the Quality CEIAG Award
• Support to raise the standard of information provision through hands-on consultancy including the funding of software programs

Workforce training offered includes:-

• Tutor training
• Support for new Careers Co-ordinators
• Annual Connexions Conference
• An e-newsletter update on operational support for CEIAG.
