Solihull Faiths' Forum
The Solihull Faiths' Forum was set up in 2006 to bring together faith communities interested in promoting a greater understanding and appreciation amongst local people of the rich diversity of belief and practice. Its main aims are to live peacefully together, involve faith and cultural groups in the civic and public life of the borough and to discuss issues of mutual concern with organisations such as the Local Authority.
The Steering Group
The Forum appoints a Steering Group to manage its business and usually meets on five occasions throughout the year. This Group has 12 membership places: 7 are reserved for the major faiths - Anglican, Roman Catholic and Free Christian Churches, Muslim, Hindu, Sikh and Judaism - and are appointed; and five are elected at the AGM.
The current members are;
Beryl Moppett (Chair)
Mahendra Dabhi
Rabbi Yehuda Pink
