The Mayor of Solihull
Councillor Irene Chamberlain
Irene has been a Solihull Councillor for 15 years representing Lyndon Ward and has been Vice Chairman of Healthier Communities Scrutiny Board, covering the Health and Social Care of our local community. She also has a keen interest in the Environment.
She has two sons, Andrew and Robert, daughter-in-law Jayne and three grandsons Scott, Alex and Gregg.
Irene's interests include achieving an Open University BA Honours Degree in 16th Century European History and a Diploma in European Humanities. She also loves meeting people and being involved in community affairs. Irene enjoys being a member of the University of the Third Age (U3A) and Hall Green Little Theatre. In her spare time Irene also enjoys a wide range of music, reading and spending time with her grandchildren and the rest of her family.

Mr Robert Chamberlain
Rob was born in Solihull and has lived in the Lyndon Ward all his life. His interests include history and music - from Tudor times to present day chart music.
Educated at Lyndon Secondary School, Rob then studied at Solihull Technical College where he obtained his City and Guilds 1 & 2 in Catering. He has worked for over twenty years as an Administrator and lately as a Supervisor at Taylor Wimpey.
Rob loves meeting people, is interested in local affairs and looks forward to supporting his mother during her Mayoral year.

Joseph Evans
Joseph has lived in Solihull for the past 11 years where he went to Bentley Heath Primary School. Joseph is now a Year 12 student at Arden Sixth Form School in Knowle and studies Maths, Biology, Physics and Chemistry after attaining grade A’s, B’s and C’s in his GCSE’s.
Joseph lives in Knowle with his mother (Sally-Anne) and brother (Benjamin). He enjoys doing many activities including sports such as Skiing, Hockey and Cycling. When Joseph was 16 he cycled form London to Paris to raise money for the British Lung Foundation and raised £2500. Joseph attends Solihull Life Saving Club every Thursday and is training to become a Pool Life Guard. He also attends 4th Knowle Sea Scout on Fridays and is in charge of Port Watch.
Joseph helps at 4th Knowle Cub Scouts every week for His Duke of Edinburgh Award for which he has attained his Silver Award. Joseph enjoys being a leader and aspires to be the best he can. He looks forward to this role and hopes to be able to fulfill it to the best of his ability.
