Coronation Youth Centre
- Age: 11-19 years and up to 25 years with learning difficulties and/or disabilities
- Description of Activities:
- Generic Youth work. Facilities include: DJ room, Band Rehearsal Room, Recording Studio, Sports area with pool table, table tennis, Coffee Bar area, Training room, Chill out room.
- Smart Club for young people with learning difficulties. Short term projects such as: Relationships and Sexual Health, Band forum, Residential planning groups etc.

Knowle Youth Centre
- Age: 11-19 years and up to 25 years with learning difficulties and/or disabilities

Description of Activities:
A wide range of activities including: the Duke of Edinburgh award, sports, music, arts and health promotions. Facilities include: Pool tables, Air Hockey, Table Tennis, Table Football and a TV Room. There are also opportunities for Residential and Trips Out for example: Golf Tuition and Ice-Skating. - Location: Knowle Youth Centre, Station Road, Knowle, Solihull B93 0PT. (Based in Arden School)

Rural Youth Project
- Age: 13-19 years and up to 25 years with learning difficulties and/or disabilities

Description of Activities:
Out and about in Rural Solihull a youth bus with a range of activities, offering issue based projects and a variety of workshops. It provides a place to meet in your community. - Location: Varies contact to find out where the youth bus will be.

Hatchford Brook Youth Centre
- Age: 11-19 years and up to 25 years with learning difficulties and/or disabilities

Description of Activities:
Youth Centre offering a wide variety of facilities including a sports hall, outside sports court, performance space, games room, media room, dance/drama studio, art activities room, dj room and 2 music rehearsal rooms which join to form a recording studio.- Drama Project for ages 11+ the group performs twice a year
- Art Project for ages 11+ the group works alongside the drama project producing scenery and costumes. There is also the opportunity to take part in a variety of art projects including graffiti, painting, sculpture etc.
- Music Projects to develop your music skills and practice in one of the two rehearsal rooms each room has a drum kit, sound equipment, guitars, keyboards. There is also a dj room with decks. The project runs regular gig nights enabling local bands to perform live and you can use the recording facility to create your own.
- Arts Award this is a National Qualification, which supports young people in their development as artists and arts leaders.
- Saturday Club for young people with learning difficulties and/or disabilities - Aimed at young people aged 13-25 years the club provides a varied programme based around sports, arts and crafts. There is also the opportunity to take part in the Arts Award Scheme. The club provides opportunities for longer projects such as film making, residential experiences and various organised trips out.

Kingshurst Youth and Community Centre
- Age: 11-19 years and up to 25 years with learning difficulties and/or disabilities

Description of Activities:
A large and vibrant youth and community centre offering a wide range of provision including: fishing project, adventurous activities, table tennis coaching and club, Duke of Edinburgh award project, open youth clubs, dance academy, projects supporting young people who are bullied and various short projects to meet the needs of young people.- ABBA (Anti-Bullying Behaviour Alliance) support and campaign for young people around anti-bullying. Regular meetings, activities, workshops and arranging activity days for others who may have experienced bullying e.g. art, drama, music, cooking and poetry. - Evolution project works with young people who are permanently excluded from main stream school. The referrals are mainly from North and South pupil referral units in Solihull and the programme runs in conjunction with their timetables to offer a package of formal and informal education. Evolution offers a wide range of activities and community projects i.e. cooking, self development, fishing, art, sports, volunteering at a local school, supporting work on a farm. This is a creative programme of sessions and activities that supports young people who have difficulties staying in mainstream school. Through hands on learning experiences and group work young people can develop a range of skills. - Kingshurst Youth Music Training Studio A fully equipped music studio where young people are encouraged and helped to learn about music technology, production and music composition utilising music software such as Logic and Acid.
- The Safe Time Out Club A club for young people with learning difficulties and/or disabilities. Weekly activities: Cooking, Group work, I.T., Pool tournaments, karaoke, table tennis, independent living. Also camping residential, sports residential and summer trips. - Description of Activities:
- Connexions Information, Advice and Guidance
- General Drop in for Information and advice - offering a wide range of individual support to young people on a variety of issues e.g. housing, drug health, sexual health, education, employment and training etc.
- Job Club offering One to-one support for young people regarding any issues they are presented with. Access to job search and support with CV preparation and other forms of job application.

The Den, Chelmsley Wood

- Description of Activities:
- Based in a ground floor flat this unit offers the following:
- A variety of issue based projects: sexual health, healthy eating, drugs, anti-racist etc
- Horse riding projects.
- Detached youth work project (meeting young people on the streets).
- Projects supporting young people who are bullied.
- The Den Committee to have your say about what happens at the Den and in your community

Northside Youth Project - Smithswood

Youth centre with facilities for young people including arts, music studio, internet cafe and chill out zone. Offering a variety of youth work activities including arts, sports and issue based sessions, drop in advice and guidance. Castle Bromwich Youth and Community Centre

A youth centre that offers contemporary dance, skateboard design, break dance, youth forum, adventurous activities, football workshops and more. Youth Service Adventurous Activities and Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme

Description of Activities:
Adventurous Activities including: rock climbing, canoeing, horse riding, mountain biking, hiking, camping etc. - Duke of Edinburgh is a challenging programme of activities, designed to support the, personal and social development of young people. Encouraging young people to undertake exciting, constructive and enjoyable activities in their free time leading to national accreditation. There are three levels: Bronze Award, Silver Award and Gold Award. These Awards involve providing a service to the community, learning a skill, participating in a physical activity and completing an expedition on foot, water, cycle or horse and taking part in a residential project at Gold.
- Location: Adventurous Activities are offered at a variety of Solihull Youth Centres and the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award is offered at a variety of locations across the Solihull Borough including Youth Centres, Youth Projects, Schools and Voluntary Organisations.

Active Involvement and Democracy Team
- Age:11-18 years

Description of Activities:
Working with young people to get their voice heard and helping them to get involved with their community.- Youth Council representatives from a wide variety of groups of young people from local youth clubs, schools, colleges etc. Meet to discuss issues, have guest speakers and consultation sessions. Current projects include: Sexual Health Awareness Group, Safe and Secure - personal safety group, YODA (Your Own Decisions Achieved) youth conference.
- UKYP (UK Youth Parliament) - young people nominate candidates and an annual election is held. Candidates get the opportunity to represent Solihull at the regional and national Youth Parliament.
- Youth Opportunity Fund and Youth Capital Fund - young people can apply for funding and applications are assessed by appointed groups of young people. There are four forums to apply to: Shirely, Solihull, North, Rural.
