We can help you choose the right course and get you started. Once you're up and running, you can log on and learn whenever it suits you, wherever you have access to the Internet - at home or work, or at your local library.

Learndirect ICT courses

With Learndirect courses in Solihull Libraries you can:

  • Develop Computers skills in particular areas to suit your needs, such as word-processing or Powerpoint; or
  • Complete a set of courses and sit the tests for New CLAIT and CLAIT Plus qualifications at Solihull Central Library or Chelmsley Wood Library.

You do your learning on the Learndirect website, where the tutorials are on-screen and easy to follow.

If you're over 50 and are looking to get started with using a computer, e-mail or the internet, you may prefer to have one-to-one lessons with an computer tutor from Age Concern.
