Knowle Male Voice Choir

This group of some 20 accomplished singers now provide music across across the range from classical, musical comedy, barber shop, madrigal, and some relatively modern favourites from the Beatles through to Charles Aznavour. KMVC performs complete concerts and/or is happy to provide a smaller selection of songs as part of someone's social/celebration evening. Normally any proceeds are given to a preferred charity as a way of helping those less fortunate than ourselves.

Solihull Recorded Music Circle

To further the enjoyment and knowledge of classical music.
Based at: Alderbrook School and Arts College, Blossomfield Road, Solihull, B91 1SN.
Meeting: The group now meet on two tuesdays a month, please call to establish when meetings take place as they are subject to change each month.

Solihull Chandos Choir

With a regular membership of around 100, this lively well-established Choir, conducted by Michael Savage since 1988, gives a minimum of 5 concerts a year, with a varied repertoire, at venues in and around Solihull. The Choir also enjoys a varied social programme including concert tours in the UK and abroad.

Solihull Choral Society

A society presenting some of the premier live choral performances in Solihull. Our aim is to promote concerts to the high standards achieved by the best choirs in Birmingham for the enjoyment of our Solihull audience.

Heart of England Singers

A mixed voice choir of all ages open to enthusiastic singers without audition. The choir sings a broad range of music from Bach to The Beatles including major choral works and performs several concerts per year. Ages from 18 to 80+.
Based at: The Free Church, Land Lane, Marston Green.
Meeting: Monday's 7.30-9.30pm during term time

Solihull Symphony Orchestra

Formerly Knowle Sinfonia, we give about three concerts a year around the borough, and rehearse weekly during term-time. Vacancies for string and brass players, but waiting lists for most wind instruments.

Elmdon Choral Society

A mixed voice choir open to all ages and abilities without audition. The Society performs 4 or 5 concerts a year and covers a wide range of repertoire ranging from the works of Bach and Handel through to compositions by contemporary composers, and has presented a number of World Premiers.

AD Concert Band

The Band was formed in 1975, originally as a youth band, but today we have evolved into a Community Concert Band comprising musicians of all ages, ranging from enthusiastic amateurs to graduate standard players.  New players of woodwind, brass or percussion instruments are always welcome, as are non-playing supporters who could help with the day to day running of the Band.

Solihull music service organises and runs a variety of ensembles for young musicians in Solihull. Rehearsals take place each week during term time at the Lyndon Music Centre.

Harmonie Concert Band

Harmonie is a Solihull wind band with a long and successful history of providing the opportunity for players to rehearse and perform concerts. There are some 35 members and we provide facilities to try out some of the band's own instruments. We take part in several concerts each year and often with local schools involvement. The band also commissions works and engages top professionals to conduct workshops to improve playing skills. The type of music we play ranges from popular classics and show medleys to challenging new compositions.
