Assisted Collection Service - Refuse and Recycling
This service is for residents who are unable to place their wheelie bins and recycling boxes and sack out for collection due to infirmity or disability.
This service is only available to households where there is no one else living in the property capable of moving the bin, box or sack for you.
Where the Council agrees to provide an assisted collection, the bin, box and sack will be moved to and from an agreed collection point for you.
Please complete the Assisted Collection application form which you can download from the forms section on the right of this page. Alternatively you can call on 0121 704 8000 or email, connectcc@solihull.gov.uk. to request a copy of the form.
If you meet the criteria, you will receive an assisted collection for your next delivery (as long as there is 2 working days notice), the box/bin will be collected from the front of your property, which must visible from the road.
