Britain in Bloom launch

Solihull is through to the National Britain in Bloom awards once again, after a superb performance in last year’s regional competition. We are starting the preparations off with a launch event in Mell Square. Take part in our community art project, a mosaic for the Town Centre. Celebrate the International Year of Biodiversity and learn all about the borough’s diverse range of wildlife. Make a bird box or have your face painted.
Community Clean Up Action Day

2pm - 3:30pm Lavender Hall Park Help make a difference in our parks with the Environmental Champions by joining in a clean up. Tasks can include fence maintenance, graffiti clear up, litter picking and other manual tasks Be sure to bring gloves and sturdy shoes along with old clothes or overalls.
