Woodland Management 10:30am - 2:30pm

  • Yorkswood, meet at Ranger Office Join the Rangers for some practical conservation work in Yorkswood. Outdoor clothes and sturdy footwear recommended. Hot drinks provided, bring a packed lunch. Meet at the ranger base, Sports Pavilion, Kendrick Ave - B34 7SA.

Saturday 16 January
Parkridge Weekend Work Party 10am - 3pm

  • Parkridge Centre, Brueton Park
    Join Warwickshire Wildlife Trust staff and volunteers on one of our weekend work parties. Help us to develop and maintain our 5.5 acre nature area. There will be a variety of tasks suitable for all ages and abilities. There will be one every month throughout the year - For more details contact 0121 704 0768.

Saturday 23 January
Meet your local Lions Club

  • Come along and meet your local Lions Club, Marston Green & District Lions.
    Would you like to help your community or those less fortunate than yourself?
    We will be at the new Asda in Chelmsley Wood between 1.00pm and 3.00pm and would love to meet you. We will also be collecting your unwanted spectacles so please bring them along and find out what will happen to them!

Saturday 23 January
Big Garden Bird Watch Weekend 9:30am (3 hrs approx)

  • Brueton Park, car park
    Join in the national RSPB survey to record birds in our local area. Bring a pen/clipboard and binoculars if you have them and then input your findings on www.rspb.org.uk/birdwatch afterwards. On Saturday an RSPB representative will be assisting us and leading a walk around the park.
     

Sunday 24 January
