Scarecrow Making Event – Knowle Park

It's the second year we have run this event and it was as popular as ever. Both young and old enjoyed the creativity in making a straw friend. There were painters, traditional, shoppers, footballers and grannies to name but a few designs – see the photo's for more details!

Fun was had by all and we awarded the following prizes, though all of them were brilliant:

One Eyed Jack – by Emma age 6yrs

Louis (snorkelling) – by Matthew age 10yrs and Emma age 5 yrs

Everyone who took part did a fantastic job and there are a few more scarecrows around Solihull’s allotments and gardens. Well done to everyone who attended
