Understanding your child's behaviour
We all know that being a parent is a difficult job and unlike most other jobs, it often comes without any training or support. In Solihull we want to give all parents the opportunity to meet other parents and learn more about being a parent.
If you would like to know more about your relationship with your child, their development and behaviours, you may want to join the 'Understanding your Child's Behaviour' programme.
Programmes are for parents and carers with children aged 0 to 18 years and they meet in venues throughout Solihull. They run for two hours, once a week, for ten weeks. They are free of charge and a crèche is provided for younger children.
Parents who have been to the groups say they have found them really helpful and that they have seen an improvement in their relationship with their child and their child’s behaviour.

Mellow Parenting
Occasionally, some parents find that they experience complex difficulties with their children and for these families, we run Mellow Parenting groups.
