It is really important that parents are involved in making decisions about the services that affect their children and their families. There are a number of ways parents can get involved.

Solihull Parents’ Network - a network you can join to receive regular updates about what is going on in the borough for you and your children.

Solihull Parents Forum - a group that meets regularly to discuss borough wide issues. There is also a group for parents of disabled children called Solihull CAN.

Parent Councils through schools – some schools have a consultative group called a Parents’ Council or Forum.

Live consultations – have your say on specific issues.

Volunteering - become a Parent Champion Volunteer and use your skills and experience as a parent of a child with additional needs or disabilities to support other parents in a similar situation.

Volunteering - opportunities for parents in Solihull.

Children and Young People's Trust - keep up to date with the latest developments.
