There are many charities, voluntary organisations and clubs that organise leisure and social activities in the area, which are targeted at specific groups of people (ie. people with disabilities, elderly, ethnic communities, etc).
West Midlands
Birmingham International Airport Viewing Lounge.
Lift to viewing lounge which is situated in the main terminal building. Part of the floor has been raised to allow wheelchair users to view the aprons.
Birmingham Railway Museum, Warwick Road, Tyseley.
Outside exhibits and ground floor of museum suitable for wheelchair users. There is a ramp to allow access into the café/restaurant. Please note that there are no disabled toilet facilities.

Guide dogs welcome except in the production area.

Both floors accessible to wheelchair users. If required, assistance is available for the lift between the floors.

Exhibits fully accessible to wheelchair users. Disabled toilet facilities available. The café/restaurant is not accessible but we are advised that staff would be prepared to bring refreshments to you if asked.

Accessible by wheelchair. Gentle slopes and lifts but care required to avoid busy periods.

Lifts to all floors giving full wheelchair access to gallery and restaurant.
Two wheelchairs and disabled toilet facilities available. A hearing loop system is installed in reception.

Lift access to both floors making the whole museum suitable for wheelchair users including the cafe. Disabled toilet facilities available.
No special arrangements for visually impaired but the museum exhibits are touch friendly.

Avoncroft Museum of Buildings, Stoke Heath, Bromsgove.
All pathways generally wheelchair friendly. Have undertaken surveys with a view to improving access to buildings and the rest of the site but are awaiting necessary funds.

Hanbury Hall
(National Trust) Hanbury, Nr. Bromsgrove.
Ramp allows access to main hall and 4 other downstairs rooms. Gravel or grass paths in gardens. One wheelchair and one self drive single seater is available. An adapted toilet is situated in the stable block.
Braille guide available. The panelling, mouldings and some other items may be touched and most chairs can be sat on.
