Education and guides for research

Education

The Local Studies Librarian is pleased to assist teachers in identifying sources for use in the classroom and in arranging group visits to the Heritage & Local Studies Service. See our leaflet for an indication of services available to teachers

Individual pupils and students carrying out academic research are encouraged to visit the service in person to see the wide range of information available on the local area. Staff will be happy to help you find books, maps, photographs and newspapers that may be of use for your project.

We are always happy to accept copies of academic dissertations relating to people, places or events in the Borough of Solihull.
