Local Memories - Berkswell

Are you curious about what life was like in this area in the past? Are you interested in looking at the history of a house or building, what was there before and who has previously lived there?

Berkswell

Took its name from a 16-feet deep, stone-walled well near the 12th-century Church of St John the Baptist, which is said to have been used for baptisms by immersion. The village has a green and the stocks were used for punishing offenders.

We're actively collecting your memories of Berkswell. Did you go to school here or work in the local area? Have you moved here more recently? Download our memory sheets and let us know what you think. We hope to feature your memories here.
