Local Memories - Knowle

Are you curious about what life was like in this area in the past? Are you interested in looking at the history of a house or building, what was there before and who has previously lived there?

Knowle

Knowle was first mentioned in the 13th century when it had the status of a Royal manor. St John's Church and the Guild House date from the 15th century and form the core of a conservation area of which the restored Chester House is an outstanding feature.

We're actively collecting your memories of Knowle. Did you go to school here or work in the local area? Have you moved here more recently? Download our memory sheets and let us know what you think. We hope to feature your memories here.
