We aim to conserve and enhance the landscape character and ecology of the Borough. To manage and maintain its diverse range of bio-diversity and protect our best wildlife sites.

  • Statutory Agencies
  • Charities
  • Groundwork Trust
  • FWAG (Farming and Wildlife Advisory Group)
  • Habitat Management - Local Nature Reserves (LNR)
    • Advising on the Councils statutory duties with respect to Local Nature reserves (LNR)
    • Co-ordinating the designation of LNR's
    • Writing management plans and monitoriing
    • Promoting the consevation of priority species under teh UKBAP(1992) and the Regional and Local Biodiversity Action Plan for Solihull and the West Midlands
