This service provides residents of Solihull with safe, reliable and quality assistance with property maintenance and gardening services.

What does this service offer?

It is designed for residents whose personal circumstances make it impossible for them to deal with home repairs and garden maintenance.

How do we decide if you qualify for this service?

Anyone over the age of 65 and/or with a disability in receipt of specified benefits, who have difficulty in dealing with small repairs normally regarded as DIY tasks, or who can no longer maintain their gardens. For further details on eligibility, please use the Contact Details below.

How much does it cost?

Handy Person Service

£17.30 (including VAT) for each hour , plus the cost of materials.

£8.65 (including VAT) for 30 minutes, plus the cost of materials.

Gardening Service

£11.90 (including VAT) for each hour or part hour of service.

What type of work does this service cover?

Handy Person Service

- help with many small repairs and tasks around the home, such as plumbing, minor electrical and carpentry work.

Gardening Service

- help with mowing the lawn, clipping hedges, planting and weeding.
