Solihull Town Centre
Solihull Town Centre, located approximately 2 km north-west of M42 Junction 5 and 7 km south-west of Birmingham International Airport and the NEC, is a major focus of retail and leisure facilities. It covers an area of 38 hectares, including 100,000 square metres of office accommodation and 3 major hotels. It is also home to many of the Borough's largest employers including Solihull Council. The number of jobs currently supported by the town centre is estimated to be around 14,000. The Touchwood shopping and leisure complex opened in 2001, adding about 54,000 square metres to the centre's retail floor space. The complex comprises 80 shops, including John Lewis' only West Midlands store, and over 20 restaurants and bars. Solihull this year entered the British Council of Shopping Centre's Top 50 Ranked Retail Centres list at number 46. The town centre currently boasts approximately 160,000 square metres of retail floor space.

Birmingham Business Park
An established landscaped park for high quality office and development, the park is situated near Birmingham International Airport and Junction 6 of the M42. The park has been particularly successful in attracting new international investors and a number of Midlands companies looking for new locations. Occupiers include Fujitsu Telecommunications, Pfizer and Hewlett Packard and the HQ of IMI Kynoch Ltd. The Business Park currently covers 36 hectares, providing 128,000 square metres of floor space and supporting around 5,000 jobs. Many occupiers are from the ICT sector and include support, research and development and administrative facilities new investors are likely to be similarly profiled. Approximately 16 hectares of this site remain undeveloped; this could provide another 95,000 square metres of floor space and potentially support a further 3,000 jobs.
Trinity Park
Trinity Park is a modern development offering high quality office accommodation situated within the NEC and Airport complex and adjacent to Birmingham International Station and the A45. Occupiers include 3I and British Telecom.
Blythe Valley Park
Blythe Valley Park has recently been developed to meet the need, both Borough-wide and regionally, for high quality business space on the edge of the Birmingham conurbation with the potential to attract leading-edge investment. In association with the University of Warwick Science Park, provision is available to support high tech start-ups at the Blythe Valley Innovation Centre. The Business Park is a 5-minute drive south of Solihull town centre, adjacent to Junction 4 of the M42. Blythe Valley Park currently covers 15 hectares, providing 51,000 square metres of floor space and supporting around 2,000 jobs. Occupiers include Arup, Oracle and Regus. The completed development will provide up to 111,000 square metres of business space in 40 hectares of parkland, supporting up to 6,000 jobs.
Solihull Business Park
The 25 acre park is being developed in several phases, with the first headquarters building already in occupation by Enterprise Inns. When complete the buildings will provide a number of architecturally striking office buildings. There is also provision for generous car parking, cycle paths and recreational areas for staff.
The M42 is approximately one mile via the A34 giving direct access to the country's motorway network. From nearby Birmingham International and Solihull Station, rail travel is possible throughout the region, with connections to all UK destinations. Birmingham International Airport is just a few miles away as is the world-famous National Exhibition Centre, hosting close to 200 events each year.
Floor areas available range from 1164-5054 square metres. The accommodation can be offered on either a freehold or leasehold basis.
Industrial Estates in Solihull
Monkspath / Cranmore
These two established estates are home to much of the Borough's industrial activity (excluding Land Rover), although recently there has been increasing redevelopment of office space on former industrial sites. Located 2.5 km along the A34 from Junction 4 of the M42, these sites in South Shirley are affectively fully developed. Cranmore Industrial Estate includes 7 hectares (25,000 square metres) of industrial and warehousing space and 9 hectares (43,000 square metres) of high quality office space supporting 1,500 jobs. Monkspath Business Park covers an area of approximately 9 hectares and consists of 40 warehouse units supporting1000 jobs. Occupiers include Siemens and Paragon.
Elmdon Trading Estate
Elmdon Trading Estate lies adjacent to the Airport and International Railway Station and offers industrial and warehouse units. The extension to the estate, Birmingham International Park will provide a total of 43 acres of warehousing, light industrial and office space. It is already home to TNT Automotive Logistics and Sonic Communications International.
