Andrew was born and lives in Birmingham. He studied English at Corpus Christi College, Cambridge, and has spent most of his career working with homeless and disadvantaged children.

The Solihull Song Challenge

The Solihull Song Challenge was a lyric writing competition undertaken as part of the 2008 National Year of Reading. The theme was Home. Working in conjunction with a local songwriter, a song was recorded, produced and made available for download.
