Balsall Common Library
Library details
Balsall common library staff aim to provide a flexible, bright and attractive environment for customers. A wide range of books and other resources are provided, together with a dedicated children's area. There are a number of computers providing free access to the Internet, Office packages and email and a photocopying facilities is available. Regular events such as Storytime sessions for the under fives and coffee mornings take place throughout the year.

Travelling to Balsall Common Library
Follow the signs to Balsall Common Library the library is on the main road A452 opposite Tamarinds restaurant. The library car park entrance is off Station Road look for the library sign after the Travel Agents and before the HSBC bank.

Regular Meetings and Events

Storytime - every Monday 2.15pm- 2.45pm Dates in December: 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd and 29th

Family History Support Group - Meets monthly on a Thursday 1.30 pm - 3.00pm.
The group shares experiences and supports each other in family history researches.The group will have exclusive use of Library computers 3.00-4.00 pm for research. All welcome. Phone Balsall Common Library 01676 532590 for more details. Next meeting 18th December. -
Coffee Morning - December 5th. Come and join us for coffee biscuit and a chat ask staff for dates.

Readers Circle - Friday 5th December. A friendly group meeting to discuss this months title of The Second Wife by Elizabeth Buchan. Titles by Doris Lessing will be given out for discussion at the next meeting in the new year. New members always welcome.

Bounce and Rhyme - Thursday 11th December, 2.15 – 2.45pm.
A friendly and informal monthly get-together for the under 5’s with songs and rhymes -
Children's Christmas Craft Activity - Monday 22nd December 4.30 - 6.00pm. Suitable for children aged 8+ years, this will be an event of Christmas creativity! Free admission by ticket only, available from the library from 8th December.
