Library details
Castle Bromwich Library is a spacious building with ramped access, having a traditional interior with plenty of areas to sit and relax. There is a wide range of books and other resources including a well laid-out children's library. There are a number of free access computers and a photocopying and fax service. Regular events include Storytime for under 5's (we have baby changing facilities) and a monthly adult group featuring a wide range of speakers and topics.

Travelling to Castle Bromwich Library
On Chester Road (B4119) turn right into Hurst Lane North (coming from Kingshurst direction) at traffic light junction with Morrision's Supermarket on corner. The library is on the right between the Clinic and Castle Bromwich Infants School.
Bus Routes: 54 and 966 get off on Chester Road at the end of Hurst Lane North by Morrisions Supermarket.
Buses 71 and 94 get off on Green Lane by Castle Bromwich Infants School.
Parking: next to the library.

- Storytime for Pre-School Children Friday 2.15pm - 2.45pm
- Homework Club every Thursday (term time) 3.45pm- 5.15pm
- Local Councillors Advice Surgeries - held on the first Saturday in the month 10.00am -12.00
- Family Learning Boxes for loan - which include books, toys, activity sheets, story tapes and more.

FESTIVE STORYTIME for under 5’s - Christmas at the library for children starts with Festive Storytime on Friday 19 December at 2.15pm and one for 5-7 year olds on Saturday 20 December at 10.30am with stories, poems, craft and refreshments (phone and book your place on 0121 747 3708)
If you haven't been to a library for a while, come and find out what services we offer and chat to the staff over coffee and cake. We have been lucky to receive funding to redesign our garden at the back of the library. You may be able to sit outside and admire the transformation!
