Travelling to Dickens Heath Library
Follow the signs to Dickens Heath, then to Village Centre. The library is at the junction of Hensborough and Old Dickens Heath Road opposite Mortons Bar and Main Street.
Car Parking is sign posted at this junction.
Bus Routes: 173 - Illshaw to Solihull and 624 - Shirley to Solihull Parking: near to library, signposted.
Nearest train station: Whitlock's End

- Ready, Steady, Read - New collection now available within the children's library. A collection of fun books to help your child develop early reading skills, improve their reading skills and enjoy reading.
Regular Meetings and Events
- Police surgery from September 2007 - 1st Thursday of the month 5-7pm
- Storytimes for under 5's - Tuesdays 2pm - 2.30pm and every Saturday 11am - 11.30am.
- Rhymetimes - Mondays 10.30am.

Summer Reading Challenge - Sat 12th July - Sat 6th Sept
The popular Summer Reading Challenge for children called 'Team Read' starts on 12th July. Children will be challenged to read 6 books over the summer.
Register at Dickens Heath Library from Saturday July 12th.
Children will be able to claim rewards after each 2 books read, and a Certificate after 6 books read. For those that complete the challenge a medal will be presented in School Assembly. The challenge finishes Saturday 6 September.

Admission to all summer activities is strictly by ticket only. Tickets for each activity will be only be available TWO weeks prior to each event.
Children under the age of 8 MUST be accompanied by a parent/guardian/responsible adult at all times during the activity.
