Homework Help
You can go into any library for help with your homework, and staff will be happy to help with your query. You will also get free computer and internet access, printing and photocopying, and of course, books on every National Curriculum subject.
Through the Virtual Reference Library www.solihull.gov.uk/247library and your library card you can get free access to lots of great information to help you with your homework, in the library or at home.
This includes the full Encyclopedia Britannica, Childrens’ Britannica, the Oxford Art and Music websites and even 200 years of The Times – see how history was happening as it happened! Current news is available through NewsUK, the Oxford English Dictionary gives you the history of the language, and there are numerous dictionaries and information books as well.
Homework Club
If you would like help with your homework every week during term time, you can join homework club at the following libraries:
Chelmsley Wood - Thursday 4:00pm - 6:00pm
Hobs Moat - Thursday 3:45pm - 5:45pm
Central Library - Tuesday 3:45pm - 5:15pm
Castle Bromwich - Thursday 3.45pm-5.15pm
You will be given priority at this time if you are doing your homework.
At homework club you can expect:

- Dedicated homework helpers.
- Free refreshments and special activities

Revision Guides for Year 9 SATS and GCSEs
There are up to date revision books and study guides in the teenage section of the library. They are available for loan in most of the school curriculum subjects at:
